We use an evidence-based modality based on more than 30 years of research to help couples and families. We treat couples, families, and individuals of all ages. We give the Hold Me Tight® workshop based on the best-selling book written by Dr. Sue Johnson, Ph.D. We also provide the How To Listen So Kids Will Listen workshop based on the best-selling book written by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish. We offer EFT supervision for therapists who are working towards their certification as emotionally focused therapists. We have the Thriving Your Love blog and podcast with lots of information that you can access here at this website completely free of charge.
Meet Tricia Kim Walsh !
Hello! I'm glad you're here! My name is Tricia Kim Walsh, LMFT (Pronouns: She/Her/Hers). I am a Multi-ethnic (Hapa), AAPI (Korean/Asian American Pacific Islander) Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist cisgender female based in the SF Bay Area for over 11 years who is dedicated to improving my client’s quality of life, in their personal and professional relationships. I am proudly a Certified (EFT) Emotionally Focused Therapist, Certified (EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapist and Certified in (PMH-C) Perinatal Mood Health. My specialities are in couples therapy, PTSD/trauma, grief and loss, working with tech employees/industry and phase of life/adjustment changes.

I greatly appreciate your interest in knowing more about me and how I can help you. I am passionate about helping couples, families, children, and youth. I have invested much of my time and resources in learning to better support these populations. I am certified as an emotionally focused therapist to help couples, families, and individuals. I am certified as an EFT supervisor to help therapists learn the model. I am trained in child-centered play therapy (CCPT) which is a modality that helps children through play. I'm also trained in filial therapy (FT) to help children and parents connect through play. I give the How To Talk So Kids Will Listen workshop based on the best-selling book written by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.

Parenting Workshops
We facilitate the How to Talk So Kids Will Listen and How To Listen So Kids Will Talk Workshop. Based on the best-selling book by parent educators Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish.
Women's Group
Tricia offers The Women of Worth (W.o.W) Interpersonal Process group. A women's group focused on building a kinship and community where all identities are welcome.

Claudio and Tricia are certified in emotionally focused couples therapy (EFCT) to help couples. EFT is an evidence-based modality created by Dr. Sue Johnson. It is based on more than thirty years of practice and research.
Family Therapy
Claudio and Tricia also help families through emotionally focused family therapy (EFFT), and perinatal mental health (PMH).
Individual Therapy
Claudio and Tricia help individuals of all ages using different methods such as emotionally focused individual therapy (EFIT), EMDR, perinatal mental health (PMH), and child-centered play therapy (CCPT).
